If you’re looking for picture-perfect farmhouse living, this probably isn’t it. This is real farm life in East Tennessee.
This is Kiser Ridge Farm — where kids run barefoot, livestock test fences daily, and chaos is just part of the routine. We’re a farm-feral family in East Tennessee raising kids, goats, cows, hogs, chickens, and a whole lot of stories along the way.
This space is about real farm life as it actually happens. The funny parts. The frustrating parts. The lessons learned the hard way. From rural parenting and livestock mishaps to Appalachian culture, sarcasm, and farm humor — this is an honest look at life when you raise humans alongside animals.
Some days are loud. Some days are messy. Most days are both. But it’s worth it.
If you’re raising kids in the country, learning livestock the hard way, or just here for the stories — welcome. You’re in the right place. The only way you could be in a better place, is if you have a real farm life in East Tennessee.
You’ll see a lot of our animals around here – you can meet our farm animals (including Floyd the Felon) and learn who causes the most trouble.
